The journey of Rydges Inn started in the year 2006, a Kottakkal based hospitality business entity, begins with the humble start by Late M.K. Ramunny Nair of the Ullattil family and since then there was no looking back.
A great visionary and a passionate entrepreneur, Late M.K. Ramunny Nair started his stellar career entry in 1964 in the automobile industry. Later he ventured into the entertainment industry in 1974 however it was only a patchy grassland during that time in Kerala. Extremely popular in the business fraternity in Kottakkal he owned theatres and conducted other hospitality services. One could say that he was the forerunner who inspired the coming generation of his business empire to venture into the hotel industry later in 1989. Running successful business class hotels in Kottakkal and Calicut and a magnificent Ayurvedic Resort in Cheruthuruthy, the group now aspires to expand its empire far and wide.
